Anthony, Tomas, Ruslan and Julian picked Alex to his knees.
Tomas: Bro, there's nothing we can do now. We have to keep going. How much further till your safehouse?
Alex with complete silence ignored them all and started walking back more aggravated than ever.
Anthony: Alex!
Ruslan: Leave him, there's nothing we can do to change his mind.
Julian: He's right. Let's just keep going. Emily is gone. Alex will lose his temper, calm down and realize that she's gone for good and he'll come back.
Julian looked at Alex as he was walking with his M4 carbine.
Julian: So let's go guys, he'll be alright.
Ruslan: If there's something I know for sure, it's that Alex won't get killed easily.
Anthony: I hope so.
They walked towards the warehouse.
Someplace else...
Voice #1: Look who I got boss.
Boss: I'm proud of you.
Voice #1: Can I have her?
Boss: For what?
Voice #1: I want to fuck her.
Boss: Alright, go right ahead.
Voice #1: Thanks boss!
The guy starts to unzip his zipper. Takes off his pants and turns unconscious Emily over to face him.
Voice #1: Oh god, I was waiting for this all day.
1 gunshot was fired.
Voice #1: Kah! What...the..
He collapses.
Boss: This girl, she's not any ordinary girl.
Emily wakes up. She looks around and starts to slowly stand up, she goes for her gun which was in her backpack and takes it and aims it at the boss.
Boss: Not a very wise move, young one.
Emily: Who are you?
Boss: It doesn't concern you.
Emily: The hell it does.
Emily fires off bullets at the boss.
Back to Alex..
Alex is walking all over the place looking for Emily. He cannot find her. He leans down against a wall and slowly descends till his ass touched the floor.
Alex: Emily.
Alex takes out a picture. It's a picture of him and Emily smiling at the camera. A teardrop falls on the picture.
Back at the base..
Tim sees four shadows nearing the warehouse.
Tim: Who are you?! Identify yourself or be shot at!
Julian: It's us!
Tim: Oh okay. Come on in, Daniel prepared dinner.
Tomas: Yo what's good.
Anthony: Tim, haha.
Tim: Yo guys! Long time no see!
They give each other a "sup" hug, and go inside the warehouse for dinner. As they all enter, Tim closes the door and puts the piano in front of it so no one can get in.
Inside..
Daniel and Roman had a table in the middle of the living room, the house being beaten up a bit, and mostly old, but still had sentimental value. There were nine chairs at the tables. Daniel, Roman, Julian, Ruslan, Anthony, Tomas, and Tim sat at their respective seats. Two seats were left out. The conversation began.
Anthony: Okay, so this is what happened.
Anthony explained to Tim, Daniel and Roman what happened.
Tim: What?! I feel bad for him.
Tomas: Now what we have to do is sleep here tonight. Julian said he'll come home.
Julian: Yeah.
Tim: Looks like you really don't know Alex then.
Julian: What are you talking about?
Tim: Alex is never going to give up looking for her.
There was a five-second silence.
Ruslan: Tim is absolutely right. I'm going to go look for them.
Daniel: I'm going too.
Tomas: Count me in.
Anthony: Honestly, I rather be out there then here.
Tim: Thanks guys, let's go.
Before they left, Tim grabbed a AK47, with holographic sight, and silencer for Anthony. He also grabbed a TAR-21 with grenade launcher attachment. Tim gave them both a MAGNUM revolver.
Now outside...
Tim: Let's go find them, whatever it takes!
Back at the house...
Roman: Julian, I'm going to go sleep, you gonna keep watch?
Julian: No. I'm gonna leave as well, but for a different purpose.
Roman: What?
Julian: There are many things you don't know about me. It's a good thing I'm always quiet.
Roman: What are you talking about?
Julian took out his M9 pistol and deliberately shot Roman twice in the leg. Roman fell and let out a large scream.
Roman: You piece of shit. You were behind everything weren't you. I should have killed you that day I saw you doing something suspicious. I'm so stupid for not questioning you.
Julian: I'm not behind anything. I just don't have any future with you guys, my main objective is to kill Alex.
Roman: You work for yourself?
Julian: Not really. I was the one that planted the bomb on the car, my boss is the one with the detonator. I had every knowledge in my mind what would have happened. I also know what happened to Emily.
Roman: Thanks.
Julian: For what?
Roman points to the exit door.
Julian: What the..fuck?
Alex: Didn't expect this, did you?
Roman: He was standing there the whole time. I made you say all that purposely, because he'd never believe me otherwise.
Julian: Look, Alex, I can explain.
Alex lifted his M4 Carbine towards Julians head, the red dot light was aimed in the middle of his forehead.
Julian: I didn't mean what I said.
Alex: So the bullets in Roman's leg is all just a game?
Julian: Fuck you!
Alex dropped his M4 carbine to the ground and ran at Julian tackling him to the floor. Julian quickly got up and grabbed his knife.
Alex: You scum, I'll kill you with my hands.
Julian: I'd like to see it happen.
Alex jumped to the right side rapidly and then maneuvered to the left side as Julian's knife was hit off his hands when he tried to slash at Alex. Alex then grabbed Julians neck and with heavy force pummeled him to the ground.
Alex: Is this what you wanted?!
Alex was choking Julian on the ground. Julian couldn't speak.
Alex: Where is Emily?!
Alex continued to choke Julian. Julian then tapped his hand twice on Alex's hand. Alex let go, Julian inhaled very deeply and exhaled. Julian let out a couple of coughs.
Julian: She's probably getting fucked raped by now.
1 bullet is fired off into Julian's arm.
Julian: Ahh! Fuck!
Alex turns around to see Emily holding her P90 at Julian.
Alex: Emily!!
Alex ran towards Emily who lowered her firearm. They embraced.
Julian: Fucking bitch.
Julian slowly reaches into his pocket and takes out his M9. He aims it at Alex.
Julian: Die you motherfucker!!!
Roman: Alex watch out!!
Alex saw Julian pointing the gun, the gun was fired multiple times. The bullets were heading straight to Emily's side. Alex pushed Emily and it all hit him. Alex collapsed and fainted, from seven gun wounds.
Julian: Now you.
Julian while on the ground aiming his pistol at Emily, who was right near Alex.
Roman: Fuck!!
Julian smiles before taking the shot. Julian is then shot multiple times with a machine gun ripping his torso in many pieces and exploding his head. Ruslan appeared and it was him that fired.
Ruslan: Fuck. I'm too late.
Ruslan asked if Roman was okay, Roman told him to check Alex.
Ruslan: You okay?
Emily: I'm fine, but Alex, he got shot 7 times. Please help him!
Ruslan touches Alex's chest where his heart lied. Ruslan felt no pulse.
Ruslan: Emily..
Emily exploded in tears.
Roman: He's fucking dead? Alex is fucking dead?! Alex is dead.
Roman who was holding pressure on his bullet holes, had tasted great depression. Alex was one of his closest friends and he had died. Everyone returned. They all tried to swallow up what happened.
Anthony: Are you kidding me, how did this happen?
Tomas: No way, my brotha, Alex?! That's fucking...
Tim: This isn't fair. This is not fair!!! Alex!!!
Daniel: My hope is gone.
Daniel falls to his knees and proceeds to feeling sadness and grieve. Just like what had happened after they killed their own zombie parents. In that same house, two things have happened that they shall never forget.
Emily: Alex!! Don't go. Please don't leave me!
Emily kissed Alex's lips, for the last time.
Emily: You can't go, not without me. Alex, I love you!
Alex opened his eyes a bit. He could barely talk due to four gunshots in through his lungs, two gunshots in his chest, and one gunshot in his neck.
Alex: I..Love..You! Good..bye..every..one.
Alex then turned his head to the side and was now dead. A kiss awakened him for a few seconds and let him say his last words.
Ruslan: I'm never going back to this house again.
Ruslan walked out of the house.
Anthony: I got you Roman, hang on.
Anthony and Tomas helped Roman with his injury.
Emily: Alex...Alex...Alex.
She still had her head on his chest. She was still crying letting out tears, she did not know what to think or do.
Emily: Alex.
Daniel: There's nothing you can do now, Emily.
Tim walked up to Daniel.
Tim: (Whisper) Don't try making it any worse, or comforting her. She was Alex's. He wouldn't want you all over her if he died.
Daniel: I know. I'm not stupid, it's just pointless crying now. He may be gone, but the memories will forever stay in our hearts.
And so this chapter ends terribly. For what the next chapter holds, you'll have to wait and see.
